Bikes can’t get much lighter or stiffer; the new frontier is sleeker. Cervélo introduced its latest, the S5, at last year’s Tour de France, and rider Thor Hushovd promptly turned the race’s first week into a virtual ad for the hypersculpted bike. You can bet other manufacturers are in the wind tunnel as you read this.
